A Note From Your 2009 Chapter President
PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE!
Dear Members,
I’m a big John Maxwell reader, his books on leadership have always
inspired me. I believe in servant leadership, I am here and ready to
serve our membership.
Recently I have been tested and interviewed for a position of
leadership with in our Keller Williams Northland Partners market
center. You learn a great deal about yourself going through this
process.
I’m going to quickly share three challenges, which I pledge to
improve.
#1. Many of you may not know it, but I have poor phone skills. I
tend to be very direct and have no chit chat skills, I may not even
say goodbye. So, don’t be offended or think I am unhappy with you.
#2. I talk too much, perhaps that is because I don’t chit chat on
the phone and feel compelled to make up for it in person. So, God
gave us two ears and one mouth and my intention is to use my ears
twice as much.
#3. If something is not working for me, I have a tendency to let you
know. And, I generally assume it’s not working for you. Well, we all
know about assumptions. So, I’ll always ask for a vote and I’ll
always support the majority ruling.
Finally, I want to share with you three strengths that I bring to
our membership. I’ll show up ready to work, I’m organized and I will
always ask the most important question.
AND, THAT QUESTION IS……
DOES THIS SERVE OUR MEMBERSHIP? If, it does it’s a go and if it
doesn’t we move on.
Now let’s have a great year and build careers worth having,
businesses worth owning, and lives worth living.

A Note From Your Outgoing
2007-2008 Chapter President
After almost 2 years of leading this
wonderful group of people my last message to you is a bittersweet
one. It is bitter because I will miss being so actively involved
with such a great organization. It is sweet because I am stepping
aside with a fantastic group of ladies to continue to lead you
through these challenging times. If I can leave you with anything it
would be this: During tough times the successful will rise to the
top. Our Women’s Council of Realtors chapter is filled with a strong
pool of people. So stick together, stay involved, be a resource for
each other and reap the benefits. Thank you for a wonderful two
years.
